President’s Message
Dear Seminar Attendee
Welcome to the 25th International Association of Marine Investigators Training Seminar in Mobile Alabama. I would like to send thanks to Major Kara Rose of the Mobile Police Department and Ron McConnell with the Mobile Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as their staff for hosting this years seminar.
IAMI is dedicated to providing quality training for Law Enforcement, Insurance and other Marine Professionals around the world. It’s a great honor for IAMI to have the privilege to be in Mobile, Alabama for this year’s Annual Training Seminar.
Being a part of IAMI is certainly a privilege and has opened up networking to professionals all over the world. Networking is the heart of IAMI and without it we could not succeed in our mission. I encourage you to take
the time to meet and visit with fellow members, share resources and exchange information. I can tell you from experience that there will come a time in an investigation where you will call that person for help, or that person will call you. So please network, you will find, as many others have, that it will make better investigators out of all of us.
We have put together informative topics this year that
will give our members an opportunity to strengthen their investigating skills. For those of you sitting for the Certified Marine Investigator (CMI ) test, I wish you the best of luck.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Directors for all of their hard work this past year and othermembers who assisted throughout the year.
I welcome you to Mobile, Alabama and IAMI’s 25th Annual Training Seminar.
Respectfully
Lt. Wayne Skrdla President IAMI
